Privacy Policy

A temporary random browser identifier and activity time are stored in browser storage to estimate site sessions. The session report retains only a hash of that identifier and the date the session began, grouped in America/Chicago. After 30 minutes without activity, a later visit starts a new session. For known public pages on realbooksoftware.com, we also record the normalized page path without query strings or fragments, a hashed page-view key and session key, the visit date, and approximate seconds the page remains visible in the foreground. Timing pauses while the browser tab is hidden. We do not include names, email addresses, ticket or customer text, raw IP addresses, or referrers in these reports. Signed-in sessions, Buildy previews, and staff or administrator pages are excluded. This first-party estimate begins after the feature is published, is separate from Google Analytics, and can differ from it or miss visits when browser storage is blocked or cleared. Public submissions can also inflate the figures, so treat them as directional estimates.
