    Desktop Icon Won't Launch The Program (Windows)

    If the desktop icon doesn't launch the program then it is more than likely a Windows issue where the shortcut on the desktop doesn't point to the correct location. Go into the program's folder (located in C:\\Program Files\\...) and tr

    If the desktop icon doesn't launch the program then it is more than likely a Windows issue where the shortcut on the desktop doesn't point to the correct location.

    Go into the program's folder (located in C:\\Program Files\\...)
    and try to launch the program the application itself (it will be an .exe file if you have your file extensions displayed)

    You can also right click on the application's .exe file and select Send To>Desktop (create shortcut) to send a new shortcut to the desktop.

    If the program will not launch from its own application file then something has become corrupted on your system and you would need to re-install.
